Paint Correction — BCDS

What It Removes

Swirl marks Light to deep scratches Oxidation & faded paint Water spots & calcium deposits Paint transfer Overspray Bird-dropping etching Holograms & buffer trails

Correction Levels

Level 1 — Enhancement (approx. 8 hours): heavy cut and refinement stages for moderate defects, boosting gloss and lifting lighter swirls.

Level 2 — Correction (approx. 16 hours): removes deeper scratches and oxidation, restoring full paint clarity.

Level 3 — Restoration (20+ hours): our most advanced option, addressing severe defects including orange peel, heavy oxidation and deep imperfections.

Our Process

  • Decontamination

Two-stage wash to strip dirt, fallout and bonded contaminants before any correction starts.

  • Surface Preparation

Specialised cleaners remove oils and residue so the paint is ready to work on.

  • Thickness Measurement

Paint thickness is measured with a digital gauge, so every cut stays within safe limits.

  • Machine Correction

Multiple polishing stages — heavy cut, medium cut and finishing — lift defects in a controlled sequence.

  • Final Finishing

The surface is refined to a mirror-like finish and prepped for ceramic coating if required.

Why Paint Correction Matters

Daily driving leaves swirl marks, water spots and oxidation that dull even a well-maintained paint job. Correction removes these defects at the source instead of masking them, restoring the kind of depth and clarity you can see in the results below.

Correction Stages

Heavy cut removes scratches, oxidation and paint transfer. Medium cut improves clarity, removes haze and adds depth. Finishing refines the surface for a mirror-like result. For wavy or orange-peel texture, we use wet sanding to bring the panel back to a glass-like finish.

Benefits

  • Permanent removal of scratches, swirl marks and oxidation
  • Restores a genuine showroom-quality finish
  • Improves overall appearance and increases resale value
  • The ideal preparation step before ceramic coating

Why Choose Us

We use specialist tools and digital thickness measurement to correct paint safely, even on heavily damaged panels, from a dedicated indoor workshop in West End — serving Brisbane CBD and the surrounding suburbs. We also offer ION7 window tinting, blocking up to 99% of harmful UV, on request alongside your correction.

Measured Precision, Multi-Stage Correction, Mirror Gloss

Paint correction is a controlled refinement of your clear coat — not basic polishing. Our process measures paint thickness before a single cut is made, so every stage removes defects without taking off more paint than necessary, leaving a surface ready for long-term protection.

Paint thickness measured first

A digital gauge checks your clear coat before correction starts, keeping every stage safe and controlled.

Multiple polishing stages

Heavy cut, medium cut and finishing passes work together to lift defects without over-correcting.

Minimal paint removal

Defects are removed without stripping away more clear coat than the correction genuinely needs.

Prepares paint for ceramic coating

A corrected surface is the ideal base for our 20H graphene ceramic coating, locking in the result for years.

Glass-like, mirror finish

Wet sanding and final polishing stages leave orange peel and wavy texture looking genuinely flat and deep.
